Nope (read through the whole thread). Combo was available at that time 'cuz that's when I bought it

. BTW yours is actually the second repost 'cuz Selma reposted herself in October

. Anyway they are good knives and I guess it can't hurt to bring the deal alive again every month or so

Good knives but watch out! if you dish washer them, water will get in the handle and rust.

Seems like a good deal. Closest I could find was +$10 and probably shipping (for both knives).

Still I think the money is better spent towards a proper 8-inch chefs knife like the MAC or Onion ones. My brother has a MAC chef's knife (around $80) and it is simply brilliant. After experiencing that knife I'm reluctant to try anything else.
