The Kev Master thinks this are good tires for the autocrossers, drifters and street performance guys, though the RT615s are yesterday's news but still a great price with the rebate.

Free Shipping... do they charge tax in CA? too lazy to enter all my info to find out.

then there's the install fee. nevermind lugging 4 tires to the tire shop.. blah.

the RT615 has a 200 treadwear rating. good for about 10K miles.. (or less)

I wouldn't waste money on these for street use....they're more of a second set for track use.

These are definitely for track use only unless you like to buy new tires every 6-12 months. That said these are solid tires for most track events. Rep to OP for the find.

makes sense why these are on sale now. these tires are dangerous in the rain (but great grip in dry). its like the equivalent of clothing stores selling remaining swimwear as winter approaches. i believe the 615s were replaced with a new model last year. DTD is the exclusive retailer for some discontinued Falken tires (Ziex 512 for example).

The Kev Master knows you're wrong on all accounts. Firstly, these tires are great in the rain but incredibly dangerous if you go below 4/32nds of remaining tread. Next, have not replaced the tire and are still manufacturing it.

Finally, he knows DTD is the exclusive retailer for Falken not just the discontinued stuff. As a former Falken South-East Asian test driver, he also know that the ZE512s are not discontinued though in their hierarchy of tires, the ZE-326 replaced the ZE-512, which replaced the ZE-502 but all of which continue to be made and sold.
