I got in on the $35 shipped deal last time and just set it up Monday with basil, chives and dill. Basil started sprouting on Thursday!

The only thing is, it sounds exactly like an aquarium so if you don't like that kind of noise, this might not be for you. However, it takes up very little space, which is great. I highly recommend getting this.

Note: mine came with 6 basil pods. So if you want other herbs, other them off Amazon, or even the aerogarden site since FS over $25. I believe they were cheaper at the time from Amazon which is why I got them there. You could also pick up an extra bulb while you're at it

Is there really a difference in the seed pods between the mini and the classic versions? If you order the seed kits for the classic, you get 4 more pods for $5 more.

I've been trying to justify one of these for years. But reviews and costs have kept me on the fence. May be time to try it.

When I ordered extra, I ordered the 6-pod seed kit, and there's no difference, so you can use them with the Aero 3.

If you're like me and like to cook with fresh herbs, this is definitely worth it

I was just looking at some reviews and also found this:

DIY seed kits for $17 +Shipping. Enough for four growing cycles. So add in your favorite seeds from Wally World or where ever and the three seed pods for, say tomatoes is now about $6 versus the $15 from Aerogarden.

I may have to pull the trigger now.
