Shopdiscover holiday cashback bonus

Are these invalidated by coupons like bing?

A lot of popular retailers there, but I too am curious if anyone has experience with CB being voided by coupons.

Shopdiscover is usually fine with coupons, but that may vary from vendor to vendor too. It is not clear if the Cashback bonus is stackable with the 2% online purchase bonus though.

I placed an order at OfficeMax of $150 last year before $30 OM coupon through shopdiscover's link and charged $120 + tax to my Discover card. To my surprise, I got $7.5 Bonus Cashback instead of $6 from Discover. In other words, the shopdiscover cashback may be stacked with coupon and may be calculated at the pre-coupon total (at least in some stores).

I'm less concerned to hear about the extra 2%, as 10% at most of these retailers is better than almost every program including Bing. Good to hear about coupons.

I think the one down I have about Discover is that even on statements, it's not entirely clear if the coupons void the cash back.

In one instance where I bought something from OfficeMax.com with a coupon, it did not show up automatically on my statement. I called in and got the cashback manually added though, without any trouble.

On the rewards details, it show the shopdiscover partner purchases in separated lines. However, it just shows the amount. I had a hard time to match it with my purchase at OM as it appears more than 5% of the charged amount. Later I found it was 5% of the pre-coupon amount. Nevertheless, this may be a YMMV.

I've found Shop Discover works well with Bing, Coupons, Codes, etc.. Discover keeps up when you click through and compares that to the posted purchase. You can look up the cash back details under your account-cash back on the discover site. If you see something missing then call Discover and they will be more than happy to give it to you (if the dates/times match). The only hastle is keeping up with every time you use Shop Discover.I've only had to call three times in many years..
