    LG 37LH30 - 37" High-definition 1080p LCD TV $483 after instant BCB shipped
    Hey all,

This is sort of related to posting http://slickdeals.net/forums/show...?t=1636756.

I missed on this great deal and found out that buydig.com has them now at $525. To make this even slicker, their sister site beachcamera has the same TV at the same price but instead you get 8% Bing Cashback for using ebay. So after cashback this TV comes out to $483.

Here's what I did to get this deal (for fellow n00bs)

    I went to Bing.com cashback (http://www.bing.com/cashback)
From there I did a search on 'LG 37LH30"
Then under "Sponsored Sites" you should see an ebay ad with a bing cashback link
The first result should be "LG 37LH30 - 37 in LCD 1080P Intell Sensor TV" and the seller should be beachcamera.

I think this is a pretty decent deal especially for CA residents since you don't need to pay sales tax nor the lame CA Recycling Fee.

This TV has a 60hz refresh rate which might weigh on the decision of some folks here.
The newer model LG-37LH40 has 120hz.

10 reviews on Amazon which range from very good to medicore: http://www.amazon.com/LG-37LH30-3...ewpoints=1

OP's note: after fully investigating the amazon reviews all the reviews that rate this 3 stars and below are less than decent reviews. One states "everything looks stretched!" (customer did not configure their devices properly), another claiming that it won't stand up without drilling a hole (que???), one stating he wasn't informed it was 60hz (more of an issue with Amazon, not the manufacturer), and the other one complaining about LG TVs in general (doesn't say anything about this exact model.)

I know I'm starting to sound like a salesman but I had the same concerns when buying this TV. After I actually read the reviews in full I bought it

Anyone know anything about this line of LG tv's? This deal looks at least as good as any of the BF ads. I can't hold my breath for secret doorbusters...since I can't get anyone to go early enough with me anyhow.

What is ebay bucks? Can you stack that?

Best deal Ive seen on a 37". Unfortunately it seems like an oddball size that doesn't have the best of sales. I've been looking for one for my parents as it is the largest that will fit in their TV cabinet...still on the fence as to whether I should wait for something better. Seems like all the best $ to screen size deals are in the 42-47" sweet spot.

Consumers Reports check-rates the LG37LH30 at $800, but gives a significantly higher score to the more expensive LH55.

have a 42LH40 and it works great! the 37" should be equally good.

Note, LG TV quality has significantly improved in the last 2 years or so to compete with Panasonic/Toshiba, Samsung etc

37" 1080p works excellently as a large screen monitor. It seems to occupy a visual sweet spot in that it is the largest 1080p that visually works well for smaller text. Personal opinion from using a 37" 1080p Westy SD for about a year now. For just video watching, I would go with one of the 40"+ and get more bang for the buck. For dual use this is excellent.

I really like this size. Great for a smaller room or bedroom when you want a little bigger than a 32 but a 40 is just too much. A deal on a 40" is easier to find. . Sub $500 for this set makes it a nice price although I don't know anyone with an LG so not sure how they compare to the Samsungs but you can't get a 37 Sammy near this price level so thumbs up.

I got this TV when the buydig.com deal was going on and I can confirm that it's really nice for the money. The only common complaint that I agree with is the black levels aren't the greatest.
