Panasonic DMP-BD60 + $30 credit for Amazon VOD for $130 shipped
Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Disc Player. It's been on sale at $130 for a while but they added the $30 credit for Amazon VOD a couple of days ago and I didn't see anyone post it. You have to buy it from Amazon and not the third party retailers like electronics expo to get the credit I believe.

Too bad it isn't a $30 credit good for anything...but not bad either way.

this thing plays amazon video on demand. Not sure if it plays netflix though... can anyone confirm? If not, is there a possibility with a firmware upgrade?

More importantly, does it play content off your computer?

No I don't believe the Panasonic has support for Netflix. I bought one of these for $122 and snow white blu-ray for free from Amazon a couple of weeks ago but I think I'm going to return it because if I get a new blu-ray player I want it to support my Netflix subscription as well as have WiFi.

I don't own one but I would assume it most probably will not. The only player I know that does is LG BD390.

The most annoying thing about my current Blu-ray player (Samsung BD-P1400) is that, after 5 minutes on pause, it times out and I have to start all over again from the main menu. And, with the load times on this player, that's a huge annoyance.

Anyone know if this Panasonic player has that same issue?

No netflix on this. After doing quite a bit of review readings on blu-ray players, this player as well as the BD80 consistently ranked as the best in its class. The only negatives were slower startup times and not having netflix. It does have amazon on demand.
