BOSE is crap. You can get a lot of other headphones for fraction of BOSE but are far better than BOSE.

if you sat in a 747 next to the engine, with crying baby in the back row, you will feel different about active noise canceling headphones.

qc2 is the benchmark everyone is compairing their NC headphones to.

sony makes one but it is $400.. audiotechinica apprently have one.. able planet... but at this price range you would want to pick these up.

It's not for your gym use, it's not for your home use either. it's for travelers. and people who prefer quiet enviroment when they study in the library. ( NC can be used without music)
