We're proud to announce that we're teaming up with Operation Homefront from July 15th - August 7th for Operation: Slickdeal! Operation Homefront provides services to American soldiers and their families and we can help. The idea is simple - use your couponing expertise to buy non-perishable food and toiletries and donate them to your local Operation Homefront chapter. If you do not have a local Operation Homefront chapter, we will do our best to accommodate you by providing a drop off point. If we can't, you can still be eligible for an OP:SD t-shirt by donating to your local food bank. Anything bought between now and August 7th counts and we have some pretty amazing prizes for the people who donate the most. We are encouraging novices and experts to join in, and we will be providing step-by-step guides for the first-timers.
Participate in Operation:Slickdeal and have a chance to win an amazing prize! Prizes include a 64" Plasma 3D TV, a Klipsch home theater system, gift cards and more!
Shopping Guide for Video
Receipts & totals for our Shopping Guide Video (Coming Soon)Posted, Monday, August 8, 2011
The donation period is officially over! We hope everyone got their stuff in to their local Operation Homefront chapter. In the coming weeks we will be totalling all the donations and determining the winners. For those of you who registered, but did not participate, we have another option to donate coming up. The chapter you donated to should have taken your donation form, but we've received word from a few people that some did not. In case your chapter signed off on your form and gave it back to you, please forward it to us at opsd@slickdeals.net. We will verify the donation with the chapter and get the form to the right people. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements!
The last of the shopping guides!Posted Thursday, July 28, 2011
Our moderator, Nuffsaid has written the final Walgreens and Rite Aid guides for the upcoming week. We can't thank her enough for writing these. If you have been following them, you should surpass the $100 mark for your donations. If you have any questions, please don't hestitate to let us know in the official support thread.
New Walgreens GuidePosted Friday, July 22, 2011
We've just released a new guide for Walgreens for the upcoming week. For those following the guides, you should be very close to $100 value to donate for very little out of pocket!
Time to donate!Posted Thursday, July 14, 2011
OK Everyone, it is on! We have the paperwork ready, some extra drop-off points set up, and some flexible contingency plans in case something goes wrong.
For starters, make sure you download our official record keeping sheet here. If you need more than one, print as many as you need, but make sure to give each of them a unique page number. Then, simply enter the required information and take the sheet (and all appropriate receipts) with you on your donation run. When you actually drop your stuff off, an OH representative will be verifying that your haul matches your receipts and will be collecting the worksheet. You will retain your receipts (DO NOT LOSE THEM); once the donation period ends, we will be contacting those of you who are in line for a prize and asking you to send the receipts directly to us.
Look on the PDF linked above (you'll need to be registered to see it) for the closest contact point to you. Just contact the person via email or phone using the information provided to coordinate the drop off. We want to make things as easy as we can for you guys and there's a lot of options, so it's best to coordinate directly with the chapters. If it's within reasonable driving distance, then you can deliver whenever they're ready for you. And if you're not in the area, the chapters can coordinate intermediary drop off points that will work for you. If that doesn't work out, we have options!
Please contact the chapters for the first 3 options. If nothing works out, or if for some reason you have trouble reaching someone, please contact us at opsd@slickdeals.net or Marco Impeduglia at 240-403-7294 or Marco.Impeduglia@operationhomefront.net. We want to work with everyone to make sure you can all participate!

It is tough to shop in these summer months! But we're here to help. While the deals are a little slimmer this time of year, we've culled some of the best deals out there for this coming week at Walgreens and Rite Aid. If you can learn the ropes while the deals are not smoking hot, when Fall rolls around and the deals come back in force, you will be ready to go. As always, keep reading, ask questions on our forums and happy shopping! And like last time, nuffsaid wrote these guides, so if these guides helped you feel free to heap praise on her!
New couponing guides postedPosted: Friday, July 8, 2011

If you follow both of them, you will pay $21.42 for $48.42 AND have $14 worth of register rewards to use for next week's deals. Our moderator extraordinaire nuffsaid wrote them. Thanks nuffsaid! As always, if you have any questions about the guides or need any help, feel free to post in the Official Discussion Thread.
