Family-Friendly and Couples Tropical Retreat in Rarotonga
Rarotonga is the most populous of the 15 Cook Islands, housing 10,000 of the archipelago’s nearly 18,000 residents. But it’s unlikely that you’ll feel crowded here. The oval-shaped isle offers the quintessential tropical escape—completely free of high-rise hotels or jammed ports. At the center of Rarotonga, a dense jungle blankets jagged peaks and valleys, gradually giving way to a circular rim of sugar-sand beaches.
You’ll have paradise at your fingertips on this eight-day stay in the Cook Islands, which includes round-trip airfare aboard Air New Zealand from Los Angeles (LAX) to Rarotonga (RAR), as well as daily breakfast and round-trip transfers. Also included with this getaway is a ride aboard Captain Tama’s glass-bottom boat, which glides across a protected lagoon to a vibrant reef area. Here, passengers can go snorkeling amid schools of tropical fish. Afterwards, you’ll dig into a fresh fish barbecue on Koromiri Island while enjoying a Pacific Island show.
