San Carlos: '50s Rock Musical "Little Shop of Horrors" at San Carlos Children's Theater $6.00 (expired)

San Carlos Children's Theater presents Little Shop of Horrors, featuring some of the finest local young talent. This musical spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies follows a meek skid row floral assistant who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Created by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, Little Shop of Horrors was based on a low budget 1960 black comedy film directed by Roger Corman. Little Shop's music is in the style of early 1960s rock, doo-wop, and Motown and includes several well-known tunes, including "Skid Row (Downtown)," "Somewhere That's Green," and "Suddenly, Seymour."
