it's running on the Reach engine genius... it's a totally different animal from what you're thinking. this is the entire first game, redone on a new engine. a "texture pack" would be the same...

Reach is cheap enough, and I think multiplayer on it is awesome. I would buy a used reach copy, that should allow you wait for this one to get even cheaper while you play reach, you'll like it.

You guys are mixing a couple things together incorrectly. Halo Anniversary is preserving the AI engine and game logic of Halo 1 for the single player modes. This is how the single player game plays...
