I have the 448's. I dont know about 280 but 448 are really comfortable and excellent for clarity. Look elsewhere if you want more bass. Overall, 448 are easily better than those $300 beats.

read what the other posters wrote, but I should just add that on pro level headphones, you usually get a cord that is on a completely different level then the **** they try to stuff down your throat...
