because they save current gen refurbs for next year - Apple fanboys are always willing to pay a premium for the logo regardless of the fact that it's an outdated product.

The Ipod Touch 8GB is available on the Chase Rewards for 14400 ($144) today. 32 GB is available for 20650 ($206.50). Thought that was competitive if you have the rewards points.

-I don't see it listed on the specs and the description states "Originally released September 2009" which leads me to believe this is the 3rd gen one.
