Not sure how it is YMMV when I went to three different stores and was told it was their policy to accept competitor coupons. I guess a 1TB external for 59.99 + tax is a bad deal? Tough crowd. ...

This drive has a SAMSUNG EcoGreen F2 HD103SI for anyone that was wondering.
The specs on the verbatim is 7200rpm, while the samsung is only 5400rpm. Do you have any links to back this up?

I don't get all the complaining either. For me, I'd rather not jump through hoops other Slickdealers seem to actually enjoy. Print out a coupon and taking it into the store is super easy....

Sorry, I said Office Depot on the link to OfficeMax. Fixed it. It is a deal at OfficeMax and they accept the Staples external hard drive coupon.
