The 6 vs 8 bit color thing is a bit overblown in my opinion for this specific monitor, unless you are a professional photographer or something, but then it'd probably be best to go real high end...

Gah, can Dell be any more annoying? No HDMI. I have a 24" Dell monitor already, but no HDMI in. And my Dell XPS 17 has only HDMI out. I've tried HDMI to DVI convertors, but no go. Sigh.

The anti-glare on this monitor isn't actually too bad. My 2707WFP had way worse anti-glare, and my 2007WFP has somewhat worse AG.
