No. The glasses that are included are most likley the SSG3050 model which goes for less than 20 dollars on amazon on a daily basis. The bdd5500 blu ray player goes for less than 80 bucks.

D5500 BD player is not that great. I got one for free and I was able to sell it for $75. I sold it because I have PS3 which has Bluray player too. The 3D glasses are 24 bucks each in best buy....
