Honestly I bought the xbox for the kinect system and because friends were hounding me to play with them on xbox...so I gave in today because $200 is a nice ass price. Although I probably won't open...
Confirmed that the tax is on $200 only for the xbox.. But the 5% target card discount was on $250.. So ended by buying the xbox for $249.5 after tax with $50 GC.. Sweet deal.. Not close to the thanks...

HD DVD was the format Microsoft bet on, well sort of. There's an accessory HD DVD player for the Xbox that's like $30-50. Then you can play HD DVDs which are crazy cheap and just as good as bluray....
