lol you capture your photos in raw format, i bought this one for the same purpose and only last a little over a year, right when the warranty expired. i suggest saving backups to blu ray discs

I don't usually trust recertified items. Recertified hard drives? No thanks. Who knows what the risk is of losing all the data on that drive, but I'm sure it's higher than for a new drive.
