It would make no sense for Lenovo to do this since every order would get returned. You may have gotten a product damaged in transit or something but the issues you mention wouldn't be passed off even...

Agreed. Refurbished products have a FAR lower DOA rate than new products. And Outlet.Lenovo has been fantastic for me. They're tops on my list for refurbs.

That's the difference between pentiums/celerons and i3/i5's these days... The former use the same cores so performance is similar, but a lot of the power saving features are disabled..
