Good catch. Only looked at the 248H part. Reading fail. Looking at Asus website, these models only differ slightly. Any would be a good choice.

Great monitor. It was just 159 on newegg and amazon DID price match that. Price kept until about 3 days ago.

i use this very same monitor only in the 23.6in version (ASUS VS Series VS247H-P Black 23.6", $166 from newegg in September 2011). the monitor is great, though there is a little backlight bleeding...
