Sony offers a lot, but your upgrade path is limited. They dont even have a newer FF camera, so you're stuck with crop or a really dated FF that doesnt do video. The sony specs are really fantastic...

may have to buy to flip.... If you're thinking about the 60Da, that is specifically for astro-photography.

the printer's a bad deal except through CL. Very big and bulky and heavy to ship somewhere. I'll be putting mine on CL hoping to get $150-175 for it. Around me they are on CL for 225 but I'm sure...

I haven't followed the cycle long enough to know. In situations like this is it best to sell after these rebates expire or is canon always running rebates that will lower the resale value of what...

I have no problem adding all three and get the discount. But you can also try to click "Buy together and Save" on the 60D page and add lens by yourself.

Good info. The only thing I'd say is that I disagree that this site is "pro" anything except a good deal. If you can find a killer deal on Sony gear by all means, please post!

Why do you have to sell photos to appreciate the staggering quality difference offered by even an inexpensive DSLR and prime lens like the nifty fifty versus the better P&S cameras that can run $400+?

It says that the rebate could take about 2 months.. has anyone experienced a faster rebate with BH before?
Post #49715126 added 05-01-2012 9:47 AM by SimplyShane in Archived Deals
You are wrong. The rebate is still $400. This deal is 100% dead in the water. The fact that it is still active on the front page is quite stupid.

The point of this website is to make you buy things you do not need, not to save money. I, too am sucked into it.

Yeah you sound right. No clue here man. I see a rebate that says $300 or $500 Amex reward card. But If it's 899 now, I'm done with it.
