Good call. From what I've found, the ST1000DM003 is nice as it has a single 1TB platter. Very nice read/writes on it, and the 64MB cache doesn't hurt either.

I remember everybody would avoid Seagate HDDs even when the 1TB drives dropped down to $35. A bunch of people would pop out of the woodwork and share their bad experiences they had with Seagate HDDs.
