It's thin. Definitely thinner than 2", it's just as thin as my 60" LG infinia. If width is your concern, this one is fine.
I bought this TV at this price last week, and it is TOTALLY worth it....

What's the stopping point for you? What kind of wireless network are you on? If it's a PSK, it should be fine, mine connected on the spot. If your network is more complicated, like a WPA2 enterprise...
