M70s will require quite the beefy reviever or they will get muddy as hell. I highly reccomend bi amping.

You need a receiver and if you want to do 5.1 than the M70's for front, CS2 for center, M40's for rear and a PSW505 for the sub. Awesome setup for the price.

This goes against what people are saying here that the mids are muddy on the 70s. I've always thought the 50s are pretty potent on mids and highs but they are are definitely lacking on bass.

I wouldn't call the mids on the 50s muddy or lacking, if anything they are a little too potent for the amount of bass they provide. So saying the 70s have more mid and other poeple saying the mids...
