I just bought this too, $880 in gift cards (CA), and they wouldn't allow me to use all gift cards. I ended up getting stuck with a $75 GC, and a $75 charge on my credit card. That irritates the hell...

It should be virtually silent. Is it still loud after you reboot? Also, check to make sure you have the latest version of BIOS. Update BIOS if not.

This is exactly what I did. Math: was $949.43 (after 5% coupon) + taxes = $1028.36 My savings: $1028.36 - $75 = $953.36 and I have 1 $75 GC for future use. Pretty sweet deal IMO
