Yeah, got my letter in the mail. This increases my bill almost 10%. I didn't get a 10% raise, wish I had more options for internet service.

Not officially. The approved modem is sb6141 which is $95 or so on ebay presently (and slightly better). You can of course find the docsis 2.0 modems used on ebay (in working order) for $25 or less....

Just bought one, $70 plus $10 credit for later.... Had to do it since arseholes from Time Warner came up with their scam $4 per month 'lease' of modem that was supposed to be free....
