Check Costco's website too. I canceled and rebooked through them because of a price difference of $600. I had no idea they even had a cruise department but they offered the lowest rates I found.

The cheapest time for MOST locations is October and November. Also, the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas (but not the actual weeks) tend to be dirt cheap.

I like cruise compete as well. I think the key to the cheapest cruise deals is all in when you go. High season means high cost. If you can, bend to the wind and go when the crowds are low.
