Surprised to see so many negative reviews on the Makita stuff. Was a done deal until I read the reviews on the 78-pc Bit Set and the other sets Makita offers.

I could have sworn when I saw these in store, that it came with 2x 12' tape measures. I don't think it had a 35' else I probably would have gotten one. Got plenty of 25'

Confirmed in Los Angeles too. When I pointed out the error the manager let me snag a 35' tape measure (Stanley) to correct their error.

I've looked at those Husky tape measures in the stores before. The quality isn't impressive, but at this price, I'm inclined to pick up a set to keep them stored throughout various rooms in my home.

The description of the product says "Set includes 12, 16, 25, and 35 ft. Tape Measure". I hope that's right...I'd prefer a 35' over an extra 12'! :bounce:

Tape measures have a lifetime warranty. I'd normally be hesitant about cheap tape measures but that definitely makes this more tempting.
