I can't speak for this specific drive but another drive from patriot, does exact it's rated speed... and it's higher than this.
Post #56006392 added 12-13-2012 6:26 AM by ItBMD in Archived Deals
I had this drive and returned it because it was too slow for me. I never got over 15MB/s write on USB 2.0. I picked up a Kingston drive and get a pretty consistent 25MB/s write on the same PC's, all...

That bending will cause it to fail and loose your data. Make a backup and order this one before its to late. That's what im doing. I've had great experience with patriot rebates.

This is a great drive but I don't want to deal with a rebate.
Post #55936610 added 12-11-2012 12:29 PM by iconian in Archived Deals
I filed at least 2 rebates with patriot in the last 2 years. Got them all :)

I have one of their red sticks. Great..not sure how long it will last as the header is bending.. EDIT: Because I would feel weird if I didn't EDIT too.

Hey I have the USB 2, 8 GB version one and have to say it's pretty quick. Can't attest to this one but I will say you have to find a better way of attaching the cap to the base. The way it stick on...

Great price, however its Patriot memory. I've had several of their sticks go bad within six months. Their quality is questionable at best. Edit: Spelling

I added the Newegg link in the Wiki. I'm in the market for a 32 GB USB 3.0 flash drive, but the cap part deters me. I'd like a retractable interface instead.

I've had a 16gig SuperTalent that's rated 60/30MBps read/write, which does live up to its rating. The current one I use is a 32gig Adata that does 100/60MBps read/write. I can't remember what it...
