Yes, you can just use the card at walmart which is what I do. either online or instore. I've done this about 5-6 times.

with most credit cards you have to pay complete amount of the item with CC to get extended warranties covered. from my understanding that you can use coupons but no split payments.

Thanks got 1. Never knew about this. I used to get $50 Lands End eGift card for $40 and use it in Sears, Kmart. If you want to get Sears/Kmart $50 gift card you have to use $45.
