The closest Costco to me only had the packages with the Windows 8 compatibility logo on them, so I had to go to another one that had both packages with the Windows 7 or Windows 8 compatibility logos....

Most likely 100% these drives dont have tler and erc. These are reserved for "enterprise" level drives now. Not to say they wont work in a NAS that uses software raid. They will most likely work...
