DEAD. Bastage raised the price to $299.99, which is idiotic considering that's $50 more than what other retailers sell it for. He probably saw a bunch of orders come in (most likely SD'ers) and...

Once again, slickdeals rating baffles me. Somebody posts this from Amazon at $249, and it gets all thumbs down.

i highly recommend buying from trusted sources like amazon. there are a lot of defects out there and you may need to return. some of these chromebooks just freeze up a lot.

I got my Samsung Chromebook for $140 from cowboom, refurbished though. It's a very good machine IF you keep in mind what it was designed to do. This is a minimalist operating system. Most everything...

I have a Windows RT tablet and actually like it a lot. It is an iPad replacement for me, not a laptop replacement. I miss the apps but like being able to be productive on a tablet.

Just grabbed this from a retail shop. it was only $10 more than this deal, plus I could return it if I didn't like it. Boot-up is as fast as my gaming rig running an 840pro. The operation system is...

Just to reiterate what others are saying.... make sure you know what you are buying before you get into a Chromebook. Personally I feel most people would do better with a tablet around the house...

It's a great little device as long as you know what to expect. It's not quite "just a browser" as many people are quick to say but the offline capabilities are pretty limited. You can view videos,...

Okay. And this deal is for people who are looking to save. As I mentioned, if you want the peace of mind you purchase from a more reputable seller.

I see no advantage to this over just buying from a reputable dealer for $10 more. On second thought, I see no advantage to that either.

yes Gov Brewer, we wholeheartedly support your taking our money. We will make more money, no problem, at least you don't have to scrape like we do anymore.

Using this right now. Its an amazing piece of tech or under $250. Its a good 2nd or 3rd computer, but can not substitute a windows machine 100%. (especially if you need to print).
