Avoid that NAS for even $25.00. Stick with Synology that simply works. ReadNAS is pure junk and frustrating. Read all of the 1 star reviews.

S4's are very nice. The only reason they are so cheap these days is because the 2nd generation s4's came out. I have both and aside from the build quality of the wires, they are pretty much the same.

I can't speak for v2 of the Duo model, but I've had several v1 Duo models for a few years, and they've been great. I use them to replicate data from one site to another remotely, and they work...
