I heard the opposite. I heard the brass connectors are more durable and hold up better over time. I ordered a set using my SYWR points so I guess I'll find out.

Yeah, I bought the nice brass ones last year and it worked great in your hand, but when installed I could never get the quick connect to fully engage and therefore it leaked.
