Actually, I think it is.. Do you know of a state where they can require membership to purchase alcohol? I don't... the ATF is a federal agency and I think that's the relevant regulatory body...

This is true in California due to our state's liquor laws, along with some other states, but don't think that such freedom is national.

FYI: I grabbed some Blanton's 750ml @ Carmel Mtn in San Diego for the same price, $29.97. Went 8mi over to Scripps Poway and it as $41.99.

Stupid Idaho and their liquor stores... Of course, Costco's beer is only a few cents cheaper than Walmarts, plus you're stuck with a 24 pack.
