I believe obi to obi calling is free. Assuming you're only calling one party, it might be worth it to get two devices. Set up the second one here before sending it overseas.

I think the discussion is that GV will be moving to the SIP standard, Since Obi supports the SIP standard we should be good if this happens. Hopefully just a Obi firmware upgrade and some reconfig...
