I do know that they have a supporting dealer sticker on the mowers now for warranty purpose. That does not mean that dealer assembled it, they are just the service dealer.

just remember, when you buy a john deer from lowes home depot etc, it may not be a john deere at all, just a name plate put on. Most of those mowers are made buy mtd. it would be worth looking...
