I use the BreathRx tongue scraper, it has been the best one I've used, absolutely LOVE it. Have not tried the one from Rite Aid. All the products from BreathRx are top notch, including their mouth...

I use a stainless steel one I got on the amazon for $10. I figure it's a better bet to get a steel one than plastic.

I dont have halitosis, so maybe thats why I never thought of it much...i just use thee brush and it seems to work...nobody has complained :)

If I have to go back and forth multiple times to get it to clean my mouth and I gag stopping me. Then it doesn't work for me.

tongue cleaners scrape off the tongue and 'wipe' the gunk off. The toothbrush moves it back and forth and you have to do more strokes which make me gag.
