Bluetooth is not for connecting to the TV, Bluetooth is for connecting your phone. I believe you use rca, headphone, or optical audio to connect to your TV

Got the 29" bar today and connected it via optical to my Samsung 32" HDTV. Sounds good but I can't control the volume using my TV remote, I'm able to do this with my other TV (LG) and vizio soundbar.
