IMO, from reputable sellers: 5A used balls are usually great. 90%+ will play as virtually new. 4A is a little more of a crapshoot, but 75% are fine for casual play. I don't hesitate to buy...

AAAAA is what you would prefer from used golf balls but 4A balls aren't that bad either usually. for the price, i might take a bite at it since i'm a fan of project a's.
