If you want really inefficient cooling, go for it. It is a pretty cool idea, just not a very good power consumption to cooling efficiency ratio.

What I was more referring to was the size of the fan rather than how it's powered. Much larger than a 4" fan is going to be problematic for mounting. I consider the solar panel a lot more...
