I heard that android box can load Kodi and they are quicker and have network port for cable connection, which is faster. Any thoughts? Thinking about getting new fire stick.

Yeah basically same 1GB RAM, goes from dual-core to quad-core, and supports AC wifi instead of just N. Oh and Alexa remote included for $40 price point.
Wish the RAM had gone to 1.5 GB at least.
