Yes. If your motherboard has enough slots, you can fill them up. You won't magically get triple channels, but you will have the extra GB of ram to use.
"What if my motherboard only supports slow memory?"
Then this should operate in that slow mode. Memory can always run slower than its designed for.
"What if I want to use this with existing memory thats slower speed or timings?"
Go ahead, but generally computers slow down faster memory to the slower memory speed. So if you had 800 MHz memory mixed with this 1600 MHz memory, then your system is probably going to slow this memory down to 800 MHz.
At this price, why not replace your old memory and get all new?
"What if I get it and don't want it or can't use it, or my mobo doesn't like this or it can't fit in my computer case or whatever?"
Then just easily sell it on craigslist/ebay for a profit, this is around 50% less than the normal price.
