It works great on a Mac, too; however, you need to buy the EyeTV 3 software from Elgato. The software ain't cheap, either. Around $80 [elgato.com].

Does this work on Windows 7, it is not listed as supported, maybe that is why these things are cheap in general and even cheaper on newegg. I have an older usb tv card that will not work with windows 7.... the only reason I need a replacement.

The reviews on newegg state that the drivers on their website work with Windows 7 but the included software is unusable, instead you have to use Windows Media Center.

I saw that, but on other sites such as Amazon people claim it does not work with Windows 7, so maybe they were just using the wrong software....

My little brother uses it on his HP Win 7 notebook. He had to download the software from their site

This is the same stick that radioshack had on clearance a few months back, fyi. Working fine on W7 if you use WMC or other software. Bundled software blows. Good reception over air. Good bit of lag when changing channels but I'm not sure if this is due to WMC or the tuner. Might be an issue if you have it connected with cable.

The included antenna is a tiny single pole telescopic antenna. For most people, that lives more than 5 miles from your broadcast towers, you will need to hook up an external antenna if you want reliable and clear over the air reception.
