24" Dell U2412M Ultrasharp IPS 1920x1200 LED Monitor $265 (expired)

I would have expected this to be a refurb, but it says "New" with a 3 year warranty... I wonder if this is one of the older revisions if we can get Dell to replace them.

Perhaps not, I was basing it on just u2412 and based off memory of a previous u2412 thread. Is "hm" a different monitor altogether?

whoops. its the u2412m. there is no u2412hm, only a u2312hm.

i know the older u2410 has problems with older revisions.

I got two for $263.50 each with the free $75 gift card promo with a $400 GC purchase deal they had going around BF, and that price was killer. They also got delayed by Dell for about two weeks. This is a very good price if they are indeed new and ship immediately.

Yeah I know for sure the U2410 had problems with older revisions, but you are correct I might be mistaken about the U2412.

For those who are really concerned, the U2412 (e-IPS, 6-bit) does not have as nice of a display as the U2410 (8-bit; S-IPS? H-IPS? Someone correct me on this). Odds are the majority of people looking at this deal will absolutely enjoy the hell out of this monitor. If you will be calibrating the monitor and need much better color accuracy for photo/video editing then I would read some reviews before you buy this monitor.
