If people haven't already gotten it, I highly recommend Alice Madness Returns. It's an incredible game. Although the gameplay itself is not groundbreaking, the art direction of the entire game is stunning, surprising and down right crazy. That in itself is worth $8 (or $3 with the code).

hmm no duke nukem forever repeat on this one. I might have to jump on alice mr. I really wanted the console version so I could get the original HD version but I doubt I will get a better deal than this anytime soon.

I was hoping they'd do a recap at the end...it's good to see that they've learned that from the Steam sales. I missed a title or two during the month, now I've got some time to decide if I want to get them cheap off of Steam or just wait until they're eventually this cheap on Steam. (Unfortunately, I've run out of Amazon codes so none of them are superb deals anymore.)

I bought Alice Madness Returns. It's buggy and combat is frustrating (especially when you can't get the umbrella to work - it's your shield basically). Gameplay is mediocre at best.

It is beautiful though. I ended up running through the first 3 levels using Hysteria and got bored. The artwork wasn't worth the hours for me. I found I wasn't enjoying myself and just playing to see the next area.

I'd imagine that DNF will be about $2.50 in the next Steam sale, so you'll have another chance to get it for next to nothing.

The big point of these January sales was so that the people that earned the $5 discount coupons in December would have decent prices to apply them to. I'm sure Amazon has sold some of these at the full sale price, but most of them have probably been sold at $5 less than the listed price.
