Costco sells (I think) a 6.5qt for $79.99 - Kirkland Signature brand, but also made in France vs. China (although their enameled cast iron frying pan is made in China).
Personally I'm spoiled because a store called Tuesday Morning was selling 8 and 8.5qt Chasseur cast iron dutch ovens for $99 on black Friday. We ended up buying two - one round, one oval.
Tramontina is not WalMart's brand.. The lodge is nice.. but the le crucet is nicer.. i own both..
That's why I'm not jumping, I have a Lodge one that cost less, is the same size, and will last forever. The enameled cast iron looks nice but will chip.
