Both were shipped with the authentic logo on the cap and base. It also had the Kleen Kanteen insert about the bottle inside of it. I can actually taste the difference from my old aluminum ones. I can attach a pic of the SKU/logos for anyone really interested. I don't think Pottery Barn would want to tarnish their name selling bottles possibly loading with BPAs, such as found in lined or no-name bottles, specifically to teens and kids...
