I added that code
I had the OG Bowflex a couple years back. Biggest benefit is being able to work any body part at home and not have to drive out to a gym. I say its perfect for weight loss and toning up, but if your looking to get massive it wont beat the free weights. Its a different type of resistance, apples to oranges sort of thing. Pretty much like any other Exercise machine you will get out of it what you put into it, work hard and this machine will definitely provide results.
They are not clearing out the system. This
has been the sale price on SD the past couple
of times they had it. Only issue is the delivery is
usually delayed a bit. But the system is worth it.
I also purchased this a couple of years ago without the 100lb upgrade and I disagree. Unless you want arms like tree trunks, this is a great machine to keep good muscle tone and it's not very difficult changing the system around unless you want to do 5 minute exercises. I may be in the minority, but generally I'll use a few exercises that are similar in setup for several days, then mix it up with a couple of new routines. It's still only a 3-4 minute change on the machine...
Yes, anytime you're building/toning muscles it will help you lose weight, I would combine with an aerobic style exercise also, and of course, watch your eating habits. Only negative to this IMO is it comes in several large boxes, and is a bit of a pain for 1-2 hours to assemble.
