Now i can dump the crappy cards like Cap One and Best Buy cards i used to build credit.
Did you all call customer service for this or is there a promotion department?
That said, I'm not sure this is worth any risk. Deals like this seem to come up every few months, so I would probably just wait for one until after the refinance is done. In my case there was some time pressure involved, and I don't really think that's true here.

i tried 2 call but the rep says u can only apply online and quizzed me ( like a ph.d thesis ) on how i found out the info, what is the code, etc etc. ( i just hungup ).

Don't do that, you can ruin your credit score. If you have a house, go for it, but if you ever want one, your rate is going to be based on your score.
Or maybe if you have small credit history, but as for myself, i wouldn't chance that.
Check ur points Statement from Freedom. You should get 3000 points added to ur account. Just transfer that to your bank equivalent to 300$
